Something that I hate about commissions.

I know this will never be read by anyone so I will just keep my rant short and sweet ... I love commissioning artists more than anything .. I have lots of money to throw about and often pay over $1500 usd each month on commissions ... I love to see what comes from the ideas that I ask of them..
But I absolutely HATE seeing pictures that I have paid a lot ($150 - $450) of money to have created, being posted without even asking if I minded having them shared, which then find their way all over the internet for everyone to grab for free ... this is unfair and BULLSHIT why do I pay my hard earned money to commission pictures that are then simply given away to everyone else for free?

This morning, just after 2am. My father Raymond John Burns passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Right up until the very end nothing was more important to him than his family.
I will forever miss his wisdom, his humor and his love.
He was my dad, my best mate and he was my hero.
I love you dad.

This morning, just after 2am. My father passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Right up until the very end nothing was more important to him than his family.
I will forever miss his wisdom, his humor and his love.
He was my dad, he was my best mate and he was my hero.
I will love you forever dad.

So, I now have a fully functional Cintiq connected to my pc once more.. and so this morning I sat down and drew the first freehand piece of fan art I have done in nearly 2 years.
I posted it earlier, but later decided to remove it because it made me ill to look at it ..Holy crappo!! I need serious practice.!! I don't have any artistic style anymore hahaha
So now I shall be making an effort to make at least one picture each day when I get home from work.
It may not be in color, and it probably will never be posted.. but one day I will once more get to a level of quality that I am happy enough to show others.
